Semrush integration
Bring Semrush keyword, backlink and competitor data into Dashworx and put search visibility next to your own traffic and sales.
About the Semrush integration
Semrush looks at search from the outside. Where Search Console reports on your own site, Semrush estimates how you and your competitors rank across its keyword database, which pages earn backlinks, and how organic and paid visibility shift over time. Its API exposes keyword positions and position tracking, search volume and keyword difficulty, domain overviews, backlinks and referring domains, and competitor comparisons.
Semrush figures should be read for what they are. Traffic and volume numbers are modelled estimates rather than measured visits, and API access is charged in units, so the data available depends on your Semrush subscription. The Dashworx team agrees which projects, domains and keyword sets to bring in, so reporting stays focused and within your allowance.
Placed next to Search Console and GA4, Semrush adds context your own data cannot give: whether a fall in clicks came from a competitor overtaking you, a keyword losing volume or Google changing the results page. For brands in crowded categories, it turns SEO reporting from a list of rankings into a view of share of search against named competitors.
