Google Analytics 4 integration
Bring Google Analytics 4 traffic, events and conversions into Dashworx and see how on-site behaviour connects to spend and revenue.
About the Google Analytics 4 integration
Google Analytics 4 records everything as events: a page view, a scroll, an add to cart and a purchase are all events with parameters attached. That model is flexible, but it means reports depend on which events you have marked as key events and how sessions are attributed. Dashworx pulls GA4 data through the Google Analytics Data API, covering users, sessions, engagement, events, key events, eCommerce purchases and revenue, broken down by source, medium, campaign, landing page, device and country.
GA4 has quirks worth knowing. The Data API can apply thresholding when Google signals is enabled, high-cardinality reports may group rows into “(other)”, and figures can differ from what you see in Explorations. The Dashworx team takes these limits into account when deciding how your GA4 data is modelled.
Next to Shopify or your order system, GA4 shows the journey before the purchase. Next to your ad platforms, it shows what paid clicks did once they landed. That makes it the link between marketing spend and commercial results, and the place to spot landing pages or devices where conversion falls away.
