Amazon Redshift integration

Send modelled marketing and eCommerce tables from Dashworx into Amazon Redshift, where they can be joined to order, customer and finance data in your AWS warehouse.

About the Amazon Redshift integration

Amazon Redshift is AWS’s cloud data warehouse, available as provisioned clusters or Redshift Serverless. Its columnar storage suits the wide, date-based tables that marketing analysis produces, and businesses that run their shop, ERP or CRM on AWS often already land operational data there. Analysts query it in SQL, and reporting tools such as Amazon QuickSight read from it directly.

What is usually missing is marketing data in a usable shape. Pulling Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and Amazon Ads into Redshift by hand means maintaining several API integrations and reconciling their different attribution and currency settings. Dashworx handles that upstream and sends Redshift modelled tables with one channel taxonomy, so analysts can join spend to orders, returns or customer records with ordinary SQL.

Dashworx stays the day-to-day view for the marketing team, with its dashboards, targets and alerts. Redshift becomes the place where marketing data meets the rest of the business for finance, operations and data team work.

Send Dashworx data to Amazon Redshift

Dashworx sends Amazon Redshift fact tables of daily marketing and eCommerce performance, with spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, revenue and orders by channel, campaign, market and product. Supporting dimension tables carry the channel taxonomy and the brand and region mappings, and KPI targets can be included for variance analysis.

The purpose is to make marketing data an ordinary part of your AWS warehouse without your data team writing and maintaining ad platform integrations. Once the tables are in Redshift, they can be joined to orders, returns, stock and customer data with standard SQL, and used by QuickSight or any other tool that already reads from the warehouse.
