Do you want to own your data?
In the world of AI and data access owning your data is fast becoming the most important commodity. Data is owned in a data warehouse.
Improvado loads into BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, Fabric or Azure, and its Snowflake product runs modelling on a stack you already have. Dashworx reads from a warehouse you own across all five. Polar provisions a dedicated Snowflake for you. Triple Whale, Databox and Dema hold the data and return or delete it on request.
Choose Dashworx if owning your data matters.
Do you sell anywhere other than Shopify?
Do you sell on Amazon, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce (Magento), eBay and more?
Polar lists Shopify as the only store platform in its connector catalogue. Dema connects Shopify, Centra and Commercetools. Triple Whale and Databox add WooCommerce and BigCommerce. None of the four publishes a Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Adobe Commerce connector, so brands on those platforms need a custom API build.
We provide connections to all major eCommerce platforms.
Do you need to define the metrics you want to see?
Every platform here supports custom metrics, so the real question is where the definition lives. Databox builds them with SQL against connected databases. Triple Whale and Polar build them inside their own models. Dema lets your team set the metric before the AI reads it. Dashworx puts unlimited definitions in a warehouse you own, so the logic outlives the subscription. Choose on where the definition sits, not whether it exists.
Choose Dashworx if easy access to all of your data via KPIs and alerting.
Does the data need to reach everyone?
Reporting changes behaviour only when it reaches the people making decisions. Polar schedules reports to email, Slack or both. Databox sends alerts and scheduled snapshots to email, mobile and Slack on Pro and above. Dema delivers agent output to Slack, email and Google Sheets. Triple Whale runs Moby inside Slack. Improvado routes alerts to Slack, Teams or email, but does not document scheduled report delivery.

Dashworx is warehouse agnostic. We build into the warehouse your business already owns, with BigQuery as the default and Azure, Snowflake, Redshift and Databricks all supported. The data is read from that warehouse rather than copied into ours, so procurement and compliance are approving access to infrastructure you already control rather than a new place for your data to live. When an engagement ends there is nothing to return or delete, because the warehouse, the tables and the KPI definitions were yours throughout.
Because the model reads from the warehouse, the store platform stops mattering. Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce and headless stacks are treated the same as Shopify. More than 600 data sources are supported, including offline sales, wholesale, ERP and finance spreadsheets ingested automatically by email.
You define the metrics. Unlimited custom KPI definitions mean your profit calculation and channel groupings belong to you, and targets are set against them so teams can see where they stand. Alerts fire when something moves outside expected behaviour, and numbers are pushed to email and Slack so they reach people who never open the platform.
One environment covers every brand in the group. A group or an agency sees each brand on its own terms and the portfolio in aggregate, with the same KPI definitions applied across all of them, so a comparison between two brands actually means something. Brands can sit on different commerce platforms, in different markets and on different currencies without a separate deployment or a separate reporting stack for each. Flight Centre Travel Group runs this way.
There is an AI layer with private inference, and dashboards can be built from a single prompt. Pricing starts at £600 a month and does not meter on GMV.
Not a fit if
• Brands wanting plug-and-play setup in minutes.
• Brands happy with directional rather than complete data.
• Brands wanting a subscription rather than a partnership.
Can Dashworx process offline data?
Yes. Sales, wholesale and finance data held in spreadsheets or Excel is ingested alongside API sources. Send it to the platform by automated email and it appears without anyone rekeying it. ERP and returns data are handled the same way, which is usually the part off-the-shelf tools leave out.

We will walk through your stack, the sources you need and the warehouse you already run, and show what the model looks like with your numbers in it.
